Originating in China and predating acupuncture by thousands of years, acupressure is one of the most ancient forms of healing on earth.

The attainment of harmony and balance within the body is the mainstay of Asian medicine and healing. In order for a body to be harmoniously balanced, and thus for the innate self-healing capacity to be maximized, the energy within the body must be able to flow and the flow must be balanced.

"Therapeutic acupressure is not a substitute for Western medicine. It is a handmaiden to Western medicine. Or, more accurately, Western medicine is a handmaiden to body energy work."

 - Isabell Gatto, Founder and Teacher of IGM® Therapeutic Acupressure

Ongoing regular IGM® therapeutic acupressure sessions, because they maximize the body’s innate and miraculous capacity to heal, are one of the most valuable gifts a person can give to himself or herself. They are “preventative medicine” at its best, eliminating energy blockages that will eventually show up as physical or emotional problems.
